Difficulty - Easy Time - 3 - 4 hours (slow)
What you will need :
Being the lazy person I am I used a cake mix to make the red velvet cake but if you are feeling adventures you can always follow this recipe, here. Disclaimer : don't make the icing.
- Cake tin
- Sunday glasses
- Icing (3/4 of packet regular size)
- Soft cheese (150g)
- butter (150 - 200g)
- Make your cake
- Add all the mixture into the cake tin
- Cook for how ever long your cake needs
- Take the cake out and let it cool
- While waiting for the cake to cool you can start to make your filling
- Add 3/4 of the regular size icing sugar, 150g of soft cheese and your butter.
- Mix it all up until it is a white or yellowy colour without any lumps, this takes about 2-5 minutes.
- When the cake is cooled, cut the cake up into little peace's.
- Take about 2-3 peace's of the cake and squish it into the bottom of the Sunday glasses.
- Take a spoonful of filling and add that to the top of the cake., keep repeating this method until you have made all of your cakes.
