No one likes waking up to bad hair; it automatically makes your day terrible. So to prevent that happening here are a few tips on how to control your crazy hair.
1. Make a braid. (Bed Hair)
This hair tip is for those days that you wake up late and just have really bad bed hair. I was so surprised when I read this out of a magazine, dirty hair actually holds braids better than clean hair they also tend to look better.
2. Dry Shampoo. (Oily Hair)
This is probably really obvious but adding dry shampoo to your hair will reduce the amount of oil and grease that is stuck in your hair. However remember to add it to the roots and comb it out after.
3. Flat hair.
For me this isn't really an issue unless my hair is really greasy but I know that not everyone has as dry hair as mine. So the easy way to fix flat hair is to turn your head upside down and blow dry the roots or take a comb and tease.
4. Humid hair.
If, like me you get very frizzy horrible hair when it is humid, try adding some castor oil. It can work wonders.
5. Hair spray. (Frizzy Hair)
This is so relatable. I have such frizzy hair and I am so happy that I came across how to tame it. On the morning of your frizz, simply take a brush and spray it with hairspray. Run the brush through your hair and your ready to go.

Great ideas! Dry shampoo definitely helps out every once in a while, but I need to find me a good, drugstore brand. Any recommendations?

Great tips and so true! A braid is my go to for when I'm having a bad hair day, it's such an easy fix! I have never tried dry shampoo but I've heard great things about it so I would give that a try. I usually put baby powder in my hair when it's looking a bit greasy which helps a ton. Thank you for these tips love!

I use batiste dry shampoo on the days I don't wash my hair. My hairdresser told me not to wash my greasy hair EVERY day as it encourages it to be EVEN more greasy. She recommended dry shampoo years ago. I've recently tried asda's own dry shampoo but found it's not as good as batiste. I suppose you could also try talc as it's the same basis as dry shampoo ...
ReplyDeleteYeah, I got told not to wash my hair everyday as well, its not good for your hair.
